Literature Text

My eyes have seen the sky for the stars
My ears have heard the wind for its song
My hands are soaked in blood from fighting past wars
Can someone tell me when these days became so long?
The dreams from yesterday fade away
And the regrets remain still bitter on my tongue
And sometimes the hurt lasts all day
But now my song is almost sung
And I long to find that hand I held
But they are gone, far from me
The anger in me cannot be quelled
Not without their voice you see
And now my eyelids grow heavy and I slowly doze
Dreams heavy with ancient tears
And I see her face, my distant Rose.
This poem started as something completely different. And then turned into a Doctor Who Doctor/Rose poem o_o No regrets here though. Sorry to my watchers who will probably be upset after this.
